First photo is of some new items soon to be up on the shop, and the second photo is of a Ceratomia undulosa specimen Brannan found trundling along our front stoop yesterday. Pretty little caterpillar that unfortunately matures into a dull little moth
Hey guys, just a quick heads-up to let you know we’ll be putting quite a few new items up on the shop next week. A sneak peek of two of the items can be seen above! Lots of good stuff from Mono, something new from Manu and Elsinore Smidth-Carabetta. Also, a brand new jewelry designer will be arriving next week, so we’re very excited about that and I think you all will be too.
Some of you may have also noticed that last week we added a new cropped tank from Osei-Duro (see below right), which is perfect for summer weather layering, and the gorgeous and soft Mono diffusion tee (bottom left). If you were wanting the Manu garland necklace get it now while you can, as we only have one remaining. We also only have one Osei-Duro bogalon bag in black left.
I’m actually going to have a few days off this week so I’ll be back to more regular posting here on the blog-yay! I’ve missed it. I hope you’re all doing well.

Hey all, we launched quietly very early Sunday morning and are making the official announcement today. If you’re on the mailing list you should have already been informed! I hope everyone will find something they like from our small, but thoughtfully selected inventory. We had a lot of fun figuring out what to carry at launch and all of the designers I worked with were wonderful. We’ve got a nice mix of recognizable pieces from designers and brands who have gotten a lot of love here recently (Manu by Lauren Manoogian, and Swedish Hasbeens), beautiful, versatile, intriguing classics (Mono), visually and socially inspiring clothing and accessories from just-breaking-onto-the-scene designers (ffiXXed and Osei-Duro), and handmade one-of-a-kind pieces from a couple RISD students with a fresh, artistic perspective (Nora MacLeod and Elsinore Smidth-Carabetta).
We’ve got a lot of exciting things planned for the shop, which I’m mostly going to keep on the dlow until we go live with them, but suffice it to say there will always be something new and interesting to experience at the shop. More immediately, we’ll be adding two new designers in May/June and a few new items each month. I’ll be pretty active with the News section of the shop too where I’ll be posting updates regarding the shop and things that I think you’ll find of interest that aren’t appropriate to post here.
Anyway, click on over to shoppourporter.com and have a look!
Some of you will have seen this if you follow Pour Porter on twitter, but for those of you who don’t, welcome to the Pour Porter shop‘s front/index page. I’ve hidden the designer names because I want it to be a surprise at launch, but you can obviously see one of them! We also have a new logo and following launch you’ll see quite a few changes to the blog too.
We’re closing in rapidly on launch date, which we anticipate in the next 2-3 weeks. This means, of course, that blog posts will be a bit spotty as we’ve got a lot to wrap up and test beforehand and I’ll have less time than usual to post, plus I’ve already started placing my fall orders. Crazy, but exciting! Happy Monday everyone!
