Carly Margolis’ All for the Mountain jewelry pieces make me think of the 70s obsession with Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings books, and something that would have been worn by one of the characters in Jodorowsky’s The Holy Mountain. Given the images on the site, I’d suspect these certainly provided some of the inspiration for Margolis’ unique collection! Whether or not you’re feeling the mystical/fantastical vibe, the jewelry is very appealing and wearable. Her furniture is quite beautiful as well. Mardeu is a shop based in Singapore that stocks jewelry, home accessories, and clothing by lesser known designers.
I remember when I first discovered Mardeu a few years back it was difficult or not yet possible to order from them; however, now they have an automatic currency convertor and they use paypal for payments. Their stock is updated frequently and there is always something eye catching available.
