I always get really excited when we introduce a new designer to the shop lineup. We’ve quite a few new labels to introduce to you this spring, and we’re kicking it off with some truly awesome tops from RICHARDS. Sarah Richards recently graduated from RISD and I was really taken with her vibrant digital prints printed on soft silks. I’m a sucker for button ups and pieces with interesting details and these shirts fit the bill.
I’m also happy to announce we’ve a fresh batch of Jake Vinson mugs. They’re all one of a kind so make sure to grab one if you’ve been waiting. Happy Monday everyone!
I’m excited to announce that Upstate is back in the shop with a brand new collection that includes tops and dresses as well as a new kelp colourway. These pieces feel amazing on.
And also since gift season is quickly creeping up on us, be sure to check out Oui‘s beautiful limited edition ceramic garlands.
There’s a fresh batch of Jake Vinson mugs now up on the shop. These are one-of-a-kind so if you see one you like, grab it because there isn’t another like it!
Guys, huge, HUGE drop of items this week! I’m impressed with myself considering I’m still stranded in the field. Anyway, our first launch of Jake Vinson‘s mugs sold out after the awesome feature on Design*Sponge (yay!) so we’ve got four new ones up now. Correll Correll, and Dusen Dusen‘s AW collections are now up too and they are good. Also, super happy to announce the arrival of a brand new, incredible designer from the UK, Milena Silvano. She creates beautiful shawls and wraps from fair trade sourced fabrics hand dyed with natural dyes. They’re seasonless and versatile. You can check all of our new arrivals out here, and of course much more to come in the next few weeks
Hooray for collaborations! Angela of Oui was a customer shortly after we opened and now she’s one of our new Objects labels. I love that we can both say we’ve shopped each other’s online stores. Anyway, we now carry a special edition scented candle plus two styles of her awesome ceramic garlands.
She was so much fun to work with, and so dedicated to finding the right scent for our exclusive candle. Angela’s candles are typically unscented and she and I both detest conventional perfumes so she mixed the fragrance from natural oils. It has such a cheery, fresh vibe and the anise adds just the right amount of spicy depth. I even detected a touch of celery. It smells like the best herb garden ever! The glaze is special and exclusive to the Shop too, and pairs perfectly with the scent.
Angela created a special version of her Pastel Garland too and used beads with the special edition glaze. I like mixing the Pastel Garland with the Brights & Darks Garland. Such pretty accents for the living space.
