Back when I posted about Seelenkleid, not quite a year ago, I hadn’t started to tire of all-black clothing and was just beginning to appreciate an all-white palette. Fast forward not quite 12 months and the monochromatic white silhouette dominates Ella Haberlach’s latest with a sprinkling of midnight blue in the form of delicate devore velvet pieces (second piece below) and melted silicone. Lest you think all-white sounds immensely boring, just have a look at the collection. Haberlach plays with transparency, disintegration, softness and rigidity all to fascinating effect.
