Why yes, yes I am on a tan kick. Looking at my Wear Board on pinterest lately it’s become pretty obvious I’ve a fixation. I think it has something to do with trying to add a little visual warmth to the supremely uninspiring lack of colour in the winter landscape. Whatever the unconscious reason, I’m liking it
If you’re like us, you always have a need for wearable, versatile pieces – except they can’t be boring. This week we welcome two new designers who have found the key to this balance. Miss Alice is an Israeli label by Alice Dahan that never fails to nail the perfect slouchy drop crotch trouser, and perfect feather light cotton knit tee, shape changing bag, and well you get the idea!
Symmetry Goods by husband and wife team Ted Byrnes and Gena Tuso (two AMAZINGLY talented people who are super nice to boot) ably demonstrate that scarves can be not only immensely cool but they can do more than just wrap around your neck a couple times. We currently carry two styles (see the Hemingway above), but Symmetry made a Special Edition Lytton Scarf just for little ol’ Pour Porter. They let me pick out the plaid fabric! Definitely very excited about these two new labels – be sure to click over to scope the goods
Five new items from Slow and Steady Wins the Race, and Ellen Van Dusen’s, DusenDusen label joins the shop – we’ll be adding a couple more pieces from her A/W collection this week.
The Shop is happy to announce the addition of a new designer to our roster, Lina Rennell. Rennell’s items are distinguished by not only their beautiful prints but their ethically sourced and produced fabrics. She hand makes most of her pieces in her California studio.
We’re also happy to announce brand new items from Jesse Bonny of Dun, who creates all of her jewelry by hand from items she’s grown, harvested, or re-purposed.
