Quite a few years back British shop, Oki-ni carried womenswear and offered, at the time, a rare selection of cool Japanese denim lines. I even purchased a couple pairs of shoes from them. Then, and I can’t quite remember exactly when (it was a few years ago) they switched completely over to menswear. Let me just say, they’ve only gotten better. Their styling, their selection, and their accessories are all fantastic. I told Brannan, “You should buy all of your clothes from them!” Ha! Their international shipping rates are really reasonable and you can view prices in several different currencies. I’m sure a lot of you have heard of Oki-ni by now, but if not, it’s a must visit

I sure do love it when I randomly come across a site I’ve never heard of before and it’s packed with mind-blowingly good stuff. British shop Goodhood is just that sort of place. I’m probably particularly drawn to it because, as I’ve been prattling on about for awhile now, I’ve been desperately in search of colour and pattern. Their current inventory has plenty of just that. They’ve loads of labels I’ve never heard of and plenty of good old favourites like wood wood, Bernhard Willhelm, Peter Jensen, Von Sono, and Sabrina Dehoff. There was so much I wanted to post but it would have taken up the whole page! Be sure to check the site out
I was very happy to have randomly discovered this amazing New Zealand boutique, Children of Vision. Their philosophy, which is listed on their main page, is to be, “…fearless supporters of all that is avant garde, intellectual, and unusual”. While I recognized a few names like Bernhard Willhelm, A’N’D’, c. neeon, complexgeometries, Daniel palillo, Peter Jensen, Hansel from Basel, and Makin Jan Ma there were quite a few I haven’t heard of yet and I find that exciting. Of course seeing as that is the main focus of the blog! Any online or brick-and-mortar that supports quality independent designers is well deserving of promotion and support too!
They seem to rotate their stock pretty frequently, so it’s a site that merits frequent visits. They do ship internationally, although you will have to do the currency conversion yourself as everything is in New Zealand dollars.

Here’s another online shop to help slake your thirst for indie darlings like Henrik Vibskov, Kling by Kling, C. neeon, Bernhard Willhelm , KTZ – Kokon To Zai, and Daniel Palillo to name a few. Shop Fatal has quite a few things on sale at the moment and also carries menswear items.
