So I should start by saying that I have by no means forgotten about the blog. I’ve been traveling for my day job over the past three weeks with no days off, and work days ranging from 14-16 hour days. Unfortunately, this leaves me no time to assemble posts. Then in shop news, the first half of our mono shipment was stolen by a postal employee, and so we’ve been dealing with the stress of that and scrambling to get reimbursed and have the items redelivered and posted on the site, because I know quite a few of you were interested in them. Basically, life has been a wee bit stressful lately-ha! I’ll be back in Texas starting Wednesday and will most likely not be back home until the following Wednesday, so posting will be spotty or non existent. We’ve a weather delay today so I’ve got a little bit of time to make this post. See you all again soon!

I know I’ve linked to online shop, My Theresa in some of my cut-and-paste posts, but I’ve never really done a full feature on the site. The German based shopping site models itself after net-a-porter and stocks a delish selection of big name designer pieces, so there’re plenty of gorgeous albiet pricey items to choose from. But hey, who doesn’t like browsing this kind of shop? Eye candy! Anyways, you can view all items in several currencies and they ship internationally
So I’ve posted about Prose, Swash, and Vilsbøl de Arce recently and was happy to find that Ssaw, based out of Stuttgart, Germany, carries these lines and more. They have a nice, limited assemblage of items so you won’t be overwhelmed by too many choices. And guys – O.M.G.they have the Prose dress I’m nuts about (see above and click to enlarge)! Unfortunately, I’m a little tied up buying inventory for the Pour Porter shop, so I’ll just have to admire it from afar. They will ship internationally, although at the moment their delivery terms are all in German. Prices are in euros, and you’ll have to forgive me for being too lazy to do the conversions for you today
We’ve been neglecting the male readers, so today’s feature focuses on Toronto shop Nomad, which stocks plenty of labels like Acne, Nom de Guerre, Opening Ceremony, APC, Common Projects and many others. The shop is set up on a blog, so you search for available products from a ‘Category’ dropdown and I believe you have to call or email them to purchase, but they do list the prices of several of their items. It would be very nice if they expanded their online offerings and set up an actual shopping cart because they appear to have quite a nice selection!
Alas, I’ve returned to my beloved neutrals, although there is a digital print thrown in courtesy the Pelican Avenue top. I’m mostly indifferent to the combat boots trend, but particularly like Acne’s flat version. I think I’d throw a chunky cream scarf over top all of this, too. Have a great weekend all!
I tried hard this week to come up with something that took me a bit out of my comfort zone, something playful and a little less me. While I probably wouldn’t have guts to wear this all together at the same time, I love the individual pieces and I’d certainly wear navy heels with navy tights! I do feel it’s quite similar in colour palette to my previous C&P posts so I’ve failed on that front. Unfortunately/Fortunately, once you’ve established your style it’s quite the challenge to push yourself beyond that. So this week was an attempt at stepping outside my usual -scout’s honor.
