Accessories for Anyone

December 20th, 2010

Postalco calfskin envelope: $465;  Royall cologne: $25;  Wood wristwatch: $75

I’ve got to admit that we’ve neglected any male readers we may have had the past several months. Of course, Brannan has been very busy with the shop’s site and hasn’t had any time to search out menswear type items. So today I’m linking to a few more guy friendly things, you know, if you’re into gender specific accessories. (Re: the cologne – My dad used to wear the Royall Lyme so this brings back childhood memories. The colognes are light and fresh and not overbearing. I despise perfumes, colognes, etc in general, but these get a pass from me! )Actually, all of these items are pretty much unisex, so hooray for that

Well, New York Fashion Week wrapped on Thursday and if you’ve been following it you probably noticed some major trends within the first few days (sheers, minimalism, (enough already, guys!) white-on-white). I was most excited by all of the red I saw particularly because it mostly came in that orangey-red I’ve been going on about lately. (Be sure to click these photos to enlarge) I’ll be interested to see if this affinity for red carries over in London, Milan, and Paris. Oh, and I did notice quite a bit of the red and tan combo popping up too
