Swedish brand, Hope, is another label chock full of slouchy, wearable clothes that you’d be hard pressed to not integrate easily into your existing wardrobe. Again this is a label I’d found out about several years ago but never featured, and recently I’ve been seeing select pieces on a few U.S. based webstores (lagarconne and creaturesofcomfort in particular). Designer, Ann Ringstrand, worked for H&M as assistant buyer and designer prior to founding the label.

Menswear today! Once again I find myself drawn to collections where the pieces are clean and minimal but possess eye catching details. Notice in the first picture on the left the gathering on the shirt directly above the pants? Love that! If you want to wear your clothes instead of having them wear you-here you are.
I think austere would be the best description of Wilfried Mayer’s clothing minus the pejorative connotations. Even the website reflects the monastic quality of the clothing. The tailoring of the clothing is just exquisite.
I’ve posted pieces from the A/W 06/07, S/S 07, A/W 08, and S/S 08 collections, and it doesn’t appear that there is currently anything more recent. Mayer is definitely a designer that deserves more recognition.

Swedish label, Nakkna is all about draping, and yes neutrals. (You should all know by now that I’m always on the hunt for clothes that will fit in nicely with my current wardrobe but possess details that make them interesting!) Anyways, I can’t access the archives on their site so I think it’s a nonfunctioning link, but I’ve posted pieces from the S/S 09 and A/W 09 collections and they do have a webshop, although I’m unsure of their international shipping policy. Actually, you can access some older collections through the webshop!
