New SS 12 pieces from All for the Mountain are now up on the shop. I always love seeing what Carly has come up with for each season because it’s always so immensely creative. Who’d have thought that eyelashes could make such cool necklaces?
Also, in case you missed it the YUE Fang Backpack is now in stock, and I was able to get some nice shots of it – no more placeholder image! These are actually the last of these bags as Sarah is putting her line on hiatus for the time being. We have one Pocket Backpack remaining too, and these bags are also no longer being produced so get these limited editions while you can
Ok, I’m putting this up here for several reasons:
1. I’m getting tired of just making shop update posts
2. I promised some time ago to try and liven things up here with more personal anecdotes
3. I need to finish the clean-up on my weaving, cut it off the loom, and get it hung!
I started this wall hanging last year (I think it was in the fall) because I wanted to mimic a vintage hanging. Kind of a challenge finding the right yarns that weren’t too pricey and attempting to match the pattern but acknowledging this would be in no way a perfect copy. I’m pretty happy with it, and more than ready to start up on the next piece.
Anyway, this post is mostly supposed to serve as motivation to finally complete the darn thing! I’ll post after photos – I promise
Brand new label this week! Sarafan + Duende is a knitwear label from the gals of Tel Aviv based Sarafan Showroom and knitwear designer Adva Bruner. Their debut SS 12 collection is all about a lacy mesh knit and soft leather piping and accents, and it’s obviously perfect for summer layering. I paired the tee with a bunch of other new spring items for our product shots because it’s so versatile. Anyway, hope you all have a great week!
