Right now, for me, it seems like the most interesting and innovative things being done in the general design world are in jewelry design. While the mainstream is busy slavering over increasingly ridiculous footwear and trends that are overplayed before you see them, the quiet world of jewelry design/metalsmithing seems to be the only place to really see something new and fresh. I’d say this is much of the reason the log has been so jewelry-centric lately!
