I have to first admit that I’m really tired of the whole shredded everything trend; however, it is (almost) Halloween so I’m making an exception with the dress. So here you are readers: a Pour Porter ‘sophisticated’ cut-and-paste Halloween. Ha, you know, because not everyone wants to be the ‘oh so sexy fill in the blank’. Have a good one guys! Brannan and I decided last minute to don some costumes. If they turn out well, I’ll post pictures next week

LOVE this so much.
Thanks Coco! Wait ’til you see our costumes (Brann had a last minute brainstorm so we decided to go for it), they’re a highbrow/deconstructed version of a classic fairy tale.
I’m not a big fan of the shredded look either, but that dress is so cool.
Yulanda,
Yeah, it’s so boring, but I mean that dress is a giant cobweb, and it’s Halloween!
I love the look! The shredded dress and the Rachel Comey boots are a fantastic combination. Totally the kind of outfit I’d wear on Halloween (since I’m not into doing the whole costume thing).

Be great to be able to actually wear something like this on Halloween, right? So, so broke right now.
I love this ensemble!
Esp the dress. May make a fun DIY project.
I’ve been blogstalking you for awhile now btw. Always love the contemporary choices of clothing and accessories you share
Thank you!
Eloisa,
Thanks-glad you enjoyed it b/c it was a fun thing to dream up for the holiday.
Oh yes, I think it would be ridiculous to pay the cost of that dress when it could be easily replicated. I’m a bit tired of the shredded look though, so I thought it was just fun to post because of the whole Halloween reference.
Thanks for watching!
