If you’ve followed pourporter for any length of time, you probably have a pretty good idea by now as to what appeals to me personally and know that I generally prefer minimal silhouettes with interesting textures or shapes. I wear a lot of neutrals, although I have been attempting to integrate some colour and pattern into my wardrobe. I recently acquired a pair of citron coloured pants! I’m always on the hunt for new designers who manage to make the minimalist silhouette look fresh and well made.
Berlin label, TALKINGMEANSTROUBLE, the creation of two sisters, does just that. They emphasize high quality fabrics and wearability and their draping is quite nice. The brand’s objective is to “…create a design that uncovers rich detail at second view.” I especially like how they’ve styled their collections.
