I obviously took a few days off as I haven’t had an extended vacation in I don’t know when. I hope everyone has a fantastic 2009!

As most of you are probably aware, Acne recently opened shop in the U.S. (finally!) and offers online shopping to all of you North American addicts.

San Francisco shop Acrimony caters to the shopper who values individual style over major label slavery. They have a nice size selection of designers which includes Heimstone, IRO, VPL, Mini Market, Sretsis, and Quail, to name a few.

A couple quick notes for you all: I receive notifications for all comments received, but we don’t have the site coded to and there doesn’t seem to be an add-on that allows threaded comments. So when I respond to your comments you’ll have to check the site again to see my responses. I’ll address you by the username you use to post your comment (my username is bopourporter). I just didn’t want any of you thinking that I’m completely unresponsive!
Tangentially, we’re considering porting the site to WordPress and building it off of that cms as it’s a bit easier to develop on and use. Be looking for a big (yes I know I said it would be small before) redesign in January!
