Although I despise the flash interface (basically, 90% of all flash sites are incredibly poorly implemented and this is no exception), Brittique has an amazing selection, and deliver worldwide. The exchange rate won’t help us in the U.S., but the sale prices definitely warrant a serious look.
Although I find it a bit unprofessional to have products listed on the site with an ‘Image coming soon’ label, NYC boutique, Elizabeth Charles offers a focused and unique selection of lesser known designers.
The dress selection is excellent, and I get excited over the number pieces from obviously talented unknowns.
I’ve posted about Complex Geometries a few times previously; however, the site now has a web shop. The line features softly constructed pieces in cotton and wool. Prices have gone up since my last post about the line, which is a little disappointing, but the characteristic quirky wearability has not been diminished.
I’ve posted a few items from F/W07 and S/S 09
First things first: Thanks to my partner in crime, B., for the menswear boutique post on Saturday! I’ll try and rope him into getting a bit more regular with that.
Italian label 6267 is still encountering birthing pains, but the label has promise. There is something old-school classic about their aesthetic, and while it may not become a label splashed across every red carpet or ‘hot look’s list, I see them appealing to particular client who wants to look and feel polished and stylish without feeling like a billboard. Of course, the S/S 08 collection was quite a bit edgier than the Pre-Collection and their F/W 07 collection, so only time and experience will tell how widespread the label’s appeal will be.
I’ve only posted photos from the S/S 08 Pre-Collection, but be sure to view the other seasons on their site and at style.com.
