Frieda Degeyter’s pieces have such a cheery, genuine feel to them, and they manage to nicely avoid the derivative ’80s vibe.
Above are three pieces from her Summer 2006 collection and one from her Winter 06/07 collection. I have featured her previously and always look forward to her latest collections.
I am desperately trying to get back to regular, tri-weekly posts, so be on the look out for more updates. Also, pourporter will be moving to its own site in the next few months and I have some other exciting plans for the blog over the next year. It will have a syndicated feed so you can still view it on your lj friend’s page.
Helle Mardahl is a Dutch design company that favours a graphic, ’80s aesthetic. While I find myself growing tired of the popularity of the 80′s rehash look, there are some pieces in their collection that stand nicely on their own.
I prefer the SS 05 collection to the SS 06 so I’ve posted mostly pieces from that collection.

I cannot, for the life of me, remember if I’ve featured this site before, but My Wardrobe has been in my bookmarks for forever and the site has a nice selection of lesser known designers. The prices seem a bit skewed due to the exchange rate, but it’s definitely worth a visit.
