The twenty-six year old Dutch label, Humanoid, began as a design endeavour for Sandra Harmsen and Hans Boelens, and now the label has found some success beyond the Netherlands. What I love about the label is how simple and wearable and effortless each piece is. These are clothes for any age or shape. Oaknyc carries a few of their pieces.
Any shoe lover worth their salt knows about Gravity Pope. They have a broad selection of well known and independent labels and a rapidly rotating inventory. I was excited to see personal favourites, Rosa Mosa and To&Co being offered on the site.
I am personally presently obsessed with natural, neutral colours, but there is plenty of colourful footwear to be found at the online shop.
I posted Cathy Pill’s S/S 06 and A/W 06/07 collection a few months back and wanted to update with her S/S 07 collection. She continues with her sinuous, watercolour-like prints and adds a few pieces that playfully reference the classic optical illusion.
